Pura Vida Tofino is located on the West Coast of Vancouver Island near Tofino, and is serviced by roads, buses and a small airport.

By Car

• To get to Vancouver Island, take one of the regularly scheduled ferries from the mainland or from Washington State See our links page for more details
  
• Once on Vancouver Island Travel north from Nanaimo, BC on Highway 19 for 43 kilometers (26 miles) toward Qualicum Beach, BC Canada.
  
• Take exit 4 onto Highway 4 known as the Pacific Rim Highway.
  
• Travel west on Highway 4 for 156 kms (97 miles) towards Port Alberni, Vancouver Island. If you are low on gas, fill up in Port Alberni as there are no gas stations until you reach Tofino.
  
• Continue west on Highway 4 from Port Alberni to Tofino - Ucluelet junction.
  
• Turn right towards Tofino.
  
• Drive for approximately 29 kms (20 miles) through the Pacific Rim National Park.
  
• Turn left on South Chesterman beach road exactly 0.8 kms (or 0.5 miles) past Pacific Sands Resort, then take the next left on Thornberg Crescent and enter the South Chesterman Beach Homes condominium complex.
